English–Japanese Bilingual MC for a Grand Opening Ceremony in Osaka
I recently had the honor of serving as an English–Japanese bilingual MC for a grand opening ceremony held in Namba, Osaka.
The event welcomed guests from both Japan and overseas, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the ceremony. The newly opened facility was designed around the concept of “Diamond,” which was reflected in the overall styling and MC attire, bringing a sense of elegance and exclusivity to the venue.
During the ceremony, I was responsible for Japanese and English announcements, guest introductions, and ribbon-cutting guidance, switching between both languages as needed to ensure a smooth and seamless flow of the program.
I focused on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment where guests could enjoy the ceremony with confidence. For international attendees, I adjusted communication style, tone, and pacing to make the announcements easy to follow.
In the afternoon, I also moderated a talk show featuring Korean actor Jung Joon-ho, facilitating a warm and engaging interaction between him and his audience.
It was a full but rewarding day, and I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity.
Feedback from the Organizer
“Your warm, professional delivery enhanced the overall atmosphere of the ceremony. Many participants shared positive comments, and we truly appreciated having a trusted professional to manage the entire program.”
